Overview
OpenTelemetry helps Matcha connect application-level activity with infrastructure-level energy data. Traces and spans provide the workload context needed to understand which services, requests, or workflows were active during GPU energy changes.
Configuration Steps
Send OpenTelemetry traces to Matcha or a connected collector.
Select services, spans, and events to track.
Add model, tenant, or workflow attributes.
Align trace windows with GPU telemetry.
Use Matcha to query energy by trace or workflow.
